On the street: A discussion about Homelessness with the Homeless
At a time marked by a loosening of the restrictions that have kept us inside, the SNF DIALOGUES discussion that took place on Wednesday 26 May 2021, 15:30 GMT, focused on the people who have been without an “inside” to stay in, those forced to live life in the streets, go without a home, and find shelter in the corners of cities now starting to come back to life.
In collaboration with the team from Shedia street magazine, the SNF DIALOGUES event gave the floor to five people experiencing homelessness. They shared their experiences, discussed what life is like for them, and their needs, and together explored the reality that homelessness can happen to anyone—despite society’s illusions to the contrary.
The SNF DIALOGUES discussions are held through journalism nonprofit iMEdD (incubator for Media Education and Development) and curated by Anna-Kynthia Bousdoukou.
