The SNF Nostos Conference 2023 is set to take place from June 21 to 23 at the SNFCC in Athens, Greece. This highly anticipated event will bring together over 100 researchers, practitioners, and activists from diverse fields to discuss and normalize various aspects of mental health. Key topics to be explored include AI applications, support systems, creative expression, loneliness, interventions curated by the SNF Global Health Initiative (GHI), societal marginalization, and the mental well-being of younger generations.

The conference features a lineup of accomplished speakers, including Greek National Football Team Captain Anastasios Bakasetas, Glenn Close, co-founder of Bring Change to Mind, European Astronaut Centre Flight Surgeon Adrianos Golemis, Goldie Hawn, founder and CEO of The Goldie Hawn Foundation I MindUP, former World Chess Champion Garry Kasparov, former U.S. Representative and co-founder of The Kennedy Forum Patrick J. Kennedy, and many more notable figures from various fields.
A particularly significant highlight of the conference is the participation of President Barack Obama. He will engage in a conversation with SNF Co-President Andreas Dracopoulos, focusing on strengthening democratic culture and the importance of investing in the next generation of leaders.
The SNF Nostos Conference is organized in collaboration with iMEdD and incorporates input from a global SNF Nostos Youth Advisory Committee to ensure diverse perspectives. The conference encourages active participation and is open to all via online registration on a first-come, first-served basis.
In addition to the conference, attendees can partake in various engaging activities, including the SNF Nostos Run, collaborative concerts through the Release Athens X SNF Nostos collaboration, exploring design innovations for new hospitals in Greece, and contributing to a mental health-inspired mural.
