SNF Nostos 2023 will focus on Mental Health

In the past three years, the pandemic has brought mental health to the foreground while sharply increasing the prevalence of depression and anxiety symptoms, according to relevant studies.* Even if the threat of COVID-19 eventually recedes, the mental trauma it has wrought at both the personal and societal levels is likely to remain with us for years to come. Now is the time to keep pressing onward against the stigma associated with mental health challenges and to talk openly about a problem that concerns each of us individually and all of us collectively.

For three days (June 21 to 23) at SNF Nostos, the annual summer gathering hosted by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), they will be discussed issues related to mental health during the SNF Nostos Conference and SNF Dialogues—and done much more besides. As every year, the SNF Nostos Run and many artistic events will take place, and we will be given the opportunity to take in vibrant concerts through an SNF Nostos collaboration which will be announced soon.
