Six fellows from Greece to attend Columbia Journalism’s Lede Program in New York City

The Lede Program at Columbia University will soon welcome new fellows from Greece at various career stages with interests ranging from far-right discourse and human rights to climate crisis, AI, and the digital public sphere. Selected through an open application process, the six fellows will participate in a 10-week summer program focused on data journalism, running from June 3 to August 9. During and after the program, participants will receive strategic guidance from professionals at iMEdD.

Supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), the fellowship covers travel, accommodation, tuition, transportation, and food.

The grant for the Fellowship Program follows previous SNF support for a three-year pilot Fellowship Program from 2017 to 2019 at the School of Journalism, in which 53 journalists from Greece focused on data journalism, investigative journalism, and multimedia reporting.
