Katerina has more than 15 years of experience in journalism, communications, and project coordination within international organizations, media outlets, and institutional environments. She combines a strategic approach with strong organizational skills and creative storytelling, placing particular emphasis on team development and process optimization.
At Lighthouse Reports, she worked as HR & Operations Lead, responsible for designing and implementing processes, workflows, and staff support systems, covering a wide range of the organization’s operational needs.
At UNHCR in Greece, she worked in communications and public relations roles, coordinating donor visibility strategy, producing multimedia content, and expanding partnerships with media outlets, institutional stakeholders, organizations, and international donors.
As a journalist, she has collaborated with both Greek and international media, and was a founding member of one of the first data journalism teams in Greece, rbdata.gr, participating in award-winning cross-border investigative journalism projects such as The Migrants’ Files.
