Giorgos Charitakis
ΥΟJO Coordinator
Giorgos has experience in coordinating European projects, humanitarian action, and visual communication, combining project management with his extensive professional background in photography. At ActionAid Hellas, he worked as a Project Coordinator, responsible for the implementation and reporting of European projects and the management of volunteers on international missions. At GIVMED, he coordinated a project funded by the European Union’s Horizon programme, as well as national programmes and awareness-raising activities, while also contributing to the writing of funding proposals and identifying fundraising opportunities.
As a professional photographer, he has worked on humanitarian projects in Greece and abroad. He was selected for the Foundry Photojournalism Workshop of VII Foundation, an official partner of iMEdD, and is a member of the VII Community.
He holds a degree in Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics and Business and studied professional photography at the Leica Akademie.
