Paul Steiger, one of the founders of Propublica, that proved journalism can win Pulitzer prizes and the readers’ trust at the same time, will present in Greece for the first time how a new age news organization can produce meaningful news, be independent and answer to journalism’s depreciation.
Paul Steiger, prior to Propublica, served as the managing editor of the Wall Street Journal. He is a senior adviser to the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, a trustee of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, based in Miami, and a board member and treasurer of the Global Editors Network, based in Paris.
