- Professor Nina Berman, and student Anna Oakes discussed their work in the panel “Lessons from the Students: How Columbia’s Young Reporters Covered the Pro-Palestine Campus Protests”, during the iMEdD International Journalism Forum 2024.
- Jonathan Soma, Knight Chair of Data Journalism, represented the school at the inaugural Media & Democracy Summit in Delaware, in spring 2024.
- Within the framework of iMEdD’s ideas zone, a program entitled “Newsroom Essentials” was held in collaboration with Columbia Journalism School. This 8-week course covered topics such as data journalism, multimedia, investigative journalism and the concept of entrepreneurship in journalism.
