Students-editors from the islands of Agios Efstratios, Astypalaia, Kasos, Kastellorizo, Lipsi, Nisyros and Fourni, assisted by their teachers and iMEdD’s journalistic team, take us on a journey to their beautiful lands and share their own perspective on summer.
The goal is to unite the islands through joint journalistic creation, to give children the opportunity to explore diverse cognitive paths, to outwardly express their views, to interact with other islands, to capture and promote the special characteristics of their home island.
“Desks in the Aegean” is the first inter-island school newspaper and is created in the framework of the civil non-profit-making organization Regeneration & Progress’ programme, “Sports Paths”. Read the first issue
