iMEdD (incubator for Media Education and Development) is partnering with the Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN) to support 20 journalists from around the world to attend the 2023 Global Investigative Journalism Conference (GIJC23), which will take place in Gothenburg, Sweden, on 19-22 September.
The programme aims to offer journalists from Greece and abroad the opportunity to participate in the largest international gathering for journalists involved in investigative journalism, and to acquire tools and skills that will enhance their skills.
The invitation to the fellowships programme and the selection of the final list of participants was made exclusively by GIJN, among a total of 117 fellowships.
Out of these, 20 iMEdD Fellows were selected from a wide array of countries. The geographical range represented by these professionals spans Albania, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chile, Comoros, Greece, Ecuador, Honduras, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Malaysia, Montenegro, Nigeria, Serbia, South Africa, Thailand and Turkey. This selection highlights the commitment of the programme to promote international cooperation and to welcome journalists from all over the world.
