Phoebe Fronista

Phoebe has worked as a journalist and news producer since 2008.
For over a decade, she covered breaking news in Greece and Cyprus for Reuters TV and other international media outlets. She also produced and co-hosted the English-language podcast, The Agora, by MacroPolis.
She started out writing theater and film reviews for Kathimerini English edition before getting her MJ from the Graduate School of Journalism at the University of California at Berkeley. Her thesis film won Best Student Film at the 2011 California Film Awards and screened at several documentary film festivals worldwide.
In 2019, she attended Columbia University’s summer investigative journalism program on a Stavros Niarchos Foundation scholarship. She also holds a diploma in Theater Arts from The New Hellenic Theatre Drama School and a BA in Law and History from the University of Kent at Canterbury.
