Nikos Tsimouris
Deputy Head of Tech YOJO
Nikos is a creative director and broadcast technology specialist, with over 30 years’ experience in tv broadcasting.
He studied Physics Science at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has studied 3D visualization technology.
He has worked for 13 years at ERT Greek Public Broadcaster as a 3D graphics designer, Head of Creative and as a technical advisor during the digital transformation of ERT (ERT Digital). During his career at ERT, he worked for major events like the Olympics, Eurovision Contests, International Festivals and big special news coverage.
He moved to SKAI TV at 2010, as Head of Graphics and Creative, where he led a special creative team of motion designers and editors that received international awards for their work. During his time at SKAI TV, he took part at the creation of OTE TV SPORTS platform and was responsible for the first branding and launch of over 20 OTE TV Sports channels as a joint project of SKAI TV and OTE TV. He was also a graphics technology consultant and specialist working for OTE TV.
Between 2018 and 2025, Nikos was deputy Head of Tech at Alter Ego Media/MEGA TV and was responsible for both Creative Department and New Tech studio development including automation, media asset management and Virtual Studio applications.
He was part of a very small team that designed, launched and lead technology dept of MEGA TV, ONE TV, MEGA NEWS and other Alter Ego Media projects.
