- What are the evaluation criteria?
Applications are evaluated solely by the iMEdD team based on:
– the relevance of the two submitted work samples to the iMEdD Journalism Forum (you can find last year’s Forum program here),
– the candidate’s professional activity in local and regional media,
– the candidate’s response to the required application question,
– and the overall completeness of the application package.
– Special emphasis will be placed on applications from more remote or less represented areas of the country.
Priority will be given to:

– professional journalists who have not previously received support from iMEdD.
The goal is also to ensure representation from as many regions of the country as possible, with a focus on more remote areas.

– publishers or editors-in-chief,
– unemployed individuals with documented experience in regional media,
– students who work professionally as journalists in local or regional media and can provide relevant work samples.
