We are pleased to announce 10 fellowships to journalists from local and regional media in Greece, covering their travel and accommodation expenses for iMEdD’ s International Journalism Forum that will take place from 26 to 28 September in Athens.   

The SNF Ithaca Initiative at the University of Delaware Joseph R. Biden, Jr. School of Public Policy and Administration and iMEdD have announced plans to host the inaugural Media & Democracy Summit, in Wilmington, Delaware.

As part of SNF’s broader series of open discussions on Civic Engagement and Civil Discourse in the US, the SNF Dialogues will examine how the proliferation of political advertising, paid campaigns, and marketing strategies has reshaped contemporary political discourse.

Marking a significant expansion of its outreach, this first U.S. event from the SNF Dialogues initiative will highlight libraries’ pivotal role as spaces that serve the public.

Apply for 10-week fellowships at Columbia University School of Journalism in New York City, on data journalism, by April 15.

The upcoming SNF Dialogues event, titled "Spectators or Citizens," on September 27th, will delve into the complex connection between media and citizenship. This event sets the stage for the #iMEdDIJF23, where these important themes will be extensively addressed.

The new ideas zone cycle is dedicated to "Anti-Surveillance and Digital Security". For 3 weeks, professional journalists will have the opportunity to attend in English and free of charge a series of interactive trainings at iMEdD.
